There are 7 stages to the design & building process -
FEES
Architectural fees for a full service are based on a percentage of the cost of the works varying between 5-15% depending on the size & complexity of the project.
Once the exact extent of work, size & complexity of the project is discussed & determined fees are generally fixed & agreed.
Site supervision, pricing the works & council negotiations to achieve building approvals are a time cost as the time necessary on each project is indeterminate.
Fees are presented as an itemized cost for each stage in the process.
Fees for additional services offered by MWA such as interiors, development concepts & feasibilities, master planning etc. are quoted as separate fees & additional to the architectural service.

The MWA experience has shown that time spent in the planning stage always saves dollars.
The successful creation of the built form ‘from concept to reality’ is the most complex of art forms requiring patience, skill & understanding.
MWA experience shows that site inspections thru construction saves dollars & ensures that the built form maintains the integrity of the original design concept.
Communication is the key to a successful project & the creation of good design.
A key to ‘hassle free’ building is full, complete & detailed documentation.
MWA motto - “When in doubt detail it!”
